Moving Lighthouse

The “Oregonized” crew is here this episode…Lance, Berg and Webs break down their weekends. Lance showed some restraint by not eating food that wasn’t his, Webs got a little too drunk and needed a ride home from the bar after kickball, and Berg got stabbed multiple times to put art on his body. Tucker & Money spoil Webs’ night by calling his phone, which he forgot to turn to vibrate. We explore some innovative ways to camp, both in city parks and in the woods, and Webs learns a valuable camping lesson that was long overdue. Lance is headed to Europe this week, so Ben the bartender expunges some sage advice, and the boys discuss what Lance’s itinerary involves…Berg wants a snow globe and a mail order bride. While Lance is in Europe, Webs starts school…though he may not remember. With Webs back in school, the format of the podcast is changing, so look for some exciting stuff on the horizon.

The Origin of Webs

Sean has a new nickname…and Webs is born. The boys have been busy this past week. Sean gives a recap of Rose City Comic-Con, Money gets famous for his adoration of all that is bacon, Lance watches the Beavers take on Wisconsin from a campsite, and Sean & Berg take on Music Fest NW. Money and Sean review their new phones, the Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One V. Meanwhile, Money goes on a “Beer-batical”. Sean and a friend have an annual bet on the outcome of the 49ers/Rams games during the NFL season, and looks to the boys to get some ideas for a friendly bet. Do you have any ideas for him? Leave them in the comments below. Finally, Money wants to know how far we would all go if some kind of apocalypse happens.

We're Going To Have To Beep That

We start off blazing though a bunch of random topics; from R. Kelly’s strange fetishes, to visiting an arcade as a kid, to the shape of a coffee cup.  Berg finally gets us set on one topic.  He enlightens us on his experience with Music Fest NW and seeing a few of his favorite bands in one show; Joyce Manor and Against Me.  As this story progresses, somehow we manage to digress multiple times.  Sean manages to transition the conversation to a music question; what is your favorite breakup song.  After Lance gets his Sports Center answer out of the way, Sean and Berg break down a few themes and songs that try and answer the question. Boy do we dive down a well of side topics from there. We try to wrap the show up with prep for the weekend that will feature a bachelor party and Rose City Comic-Con. We actually end the podcast with a first for the show; someone finally crosses a line that needs to be beeped out. The time that was spent editing due to this, may prevent it from happening ever again. So listen and let your outrage ensue.

Chocolate Hostage

This week Football is back.  This causes us to have a football heavy podcast.  America, and Taco Tiki Tuesday, LOVES their football. Before we get into the sport of the gods that is football, we have a discussion on the Little League World Series; should it be televised?  We also touch on Failed Potential of athletes and maybe the cause.  Lance then then explains his stance on why he feels confident with his ability to route for a football team that he isn’t an alumni, and his justification for doing so.  Then the Football talk begins.  We start with the recap of the Oregon game, and ponder the ramifications of giving up 34 points to Arkansas State, as well of the logistical problems of Hurricane Isaac and the OSU Game.  They guys then make their College Football conference champions, and National Champs.  The only logical thing to do is then pick Super Bowl Champs.  We feel we have bombarded you with sports enough and move on to a discussion of the Fall TV schedule.  What are the most anticipated shows for the guys?  We let you know.  This also leads into a discussion of our favorite series of all time.  Finally we preview Rose City Comic ConWidmer Oktoberfest, and Music Fest Northwest.
